The Next Wonder of our Youth Group - by Angela Ha
These past few weeks, people have been gazing longingly and wondering what each of them meant. “Them” are the alabaster jars students had fabricated on the second night of the Winter retreat of 2007. After the retreat, Mr. Hankyul Park (one of our counselors) took each of the Play-dohs and kept them moisturized for about 2 weeks!
He then made each of the pieces of wood for this masterpiece! Pastor Peter said, “It took him about 120 hours to make something this beautiful.” From then on, many cannot stop looking at it in such awe because it has so much meaning to it. There are some distinct and visible ones, and there are some interesting and confusing ones, but that’s how it makes it so amazingly beautiful. So, have you found your “alabaster jar” yet ?
